What level of English do I need for each programme bundle?
For the B1 Programme, you need to have an A2–B1 level of English – pre-intermediate to intermediate. In 3 months, the course will train you to master the B1 level, so you are in the perfect position to start B2. As a rule, if you can understand most of what I say in my videos with subtitles, you are ready for the B1 Programme.
For the B2 Programme, you need to have a minimum of a B1 level of English – intermediate. In 3 months, the course will train you to master the B2 level, so you are in the perfect position to start C1. As a rule, if you can understand most of what I say in my videos without subtitles, you are ready for the B2 Programme.
For the C1 Programme, you need to have a minimum of a B2 level of English – upper-intermediate. Many students with very high (C1-C2) levels find our B2 and C1 Courses extremely useful as we cover grammar, nuance, pronunciation and speaking in such fine detail. We overshoot the level in both courses to ensure that you get optimal results.
When do the programmes start and finish?
When you enrol, you will receive an email asking you how you would like to proceed. You can choose to start your first programme immediately, or you can choose to postpone your start date. You must start your first course by the 1st of June 2026. You must start the rest of your bundle within 365 days. After this deadline, you will still have lifetime access to course materials, but community and feedback access will expire.
Can I study at my own pace?
Yes. You have lifetime access to the course content. You can keep the course materials forever. Each course community runs for 16 weeks, so you have an extra 4 weeks after the final module is released. If you need extra time, just let us know via email, and we will try to accommodate you.
Do the programmes include live classes?
There are no live classes. You don’t have to wait for the teacher to get to the point, and you certainly don’t have to wait for an annoying classmate to stop demanding the teacher’s attention. You can take the lessons at your own pace (you will never lose access to them). You have 16 weeks of access to each course community, where you can contact teachers to ask questions and clarify doubts.
When my programme ends, can I still see the lessons?
Yes. You have lifetime access to the course content. You keep all course materials forever.
How does the VIP feedback work?
You have the option to join the VIP Feedback Pack version of each programme. With this premium pack, you have formal weekly homework tasks and access to a VIP space in the community for personal teacher feedback. You have both speaking and writing homework. You will get written corrections on all your homework assignments. If you submit recordings for the speaking homework, you will receive audio feedback on your pronunciation, too. (You can choose to switch to only writing, but pronunciation feedback is extremely valuable.) If you don’t want to post publicly, you can submit your homework via email. You have 16 weeks of access to each course community. We can look at extending your access upon request.
Will a teacher answer my questions and doubts without the VIP pack?
Yes! In the course community, you can ask questions and clarify doubts, but the teachers will not offer corrections or feedback.
Is there a final exam for each programme?
Yes, there is a final exam for each programme.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes, you will get a certificate of completion for each programme when you complete all of the course lessons. You can use the certificate to prove your attendance at each level of the course. You can also share your final exam result email after the completion of your final exam. This shows your result and your grade. Our students love to share their results and certificates on LinkedIn and on their CVs/résumés to prove their attendance.
How much time do I need to dedicate per day/week?
In order to truly benefit from these programmes, you should dedicate an absolute minimum of 2 study sessions per week. You can study a little every day if that suits you best. Our most successful students dedicate at least 4 hours per week.
I already have a high level. Will I still benefit from any of these courses?
Many students with very high (C1-C2) levels find our B2 and C1 Courses to be extremely useful as we cover grammar, nuance, pronunciation and speaking in such detail. We overshoot the level in both courses to ensure your results exceed expectations.
What is the minimum age for these programmes?
You must be over the age of 16 to join any of our courses. If we find out that a student is under 16, we are legally obliged to remove them. This is for child protection reasons.
