What level of English do I need to join the Professional English Programmes?
You need an A2 level to begin Level 1, a B1 level to begin Level 2 and a B2 level to begin Level 3. Each programme is designed to move you up one full CEFR level. If you’re already at the level being taught, the course is still useful for building fluency, accuracy and professional confidence.
As a general guide: if you can understand most of what I say in my videos with subtitles, you’re ready to begin.
When do the programmes start and finish?
You get immediate access as soon as you purchase, so you can start as soon as you’re ready. If you’re not quite ready yet, no problem at all! Just email us when you want to begin, and we’ll activate your access to community support, study reminders and feedback (if that’s included in your plan).
You must start your first programme by 1st July 2026. The rest must begin within 365 days. After that, you’ll still have lifetime access to the lessons, but your community and feedback access will expire.
Can I study at my own pace?
Yes. You can go as fast or as slowly as you like. You have lifetime access to the course content, so you can review lessons whenever you need.
Do the programmes include live classes?
No, the lessons are pre-recorded. You can study at your own pace, go back and review, pause or repeat as needed. No waiting for other students or for the teacher to finish explaining. You also get access to the private course community, where you can ask questions and get help from teachers.
When my programme ends, can I still see the lessons?
Yes. You have lifetime access to the course content. You keep all course materials forever.
How does the feedback work in the Gold Plan?
If you join the Gold Plan, you’ll complete weekly writing or pronunciation tasks (6 writing, 6 pronunciation on alternating weeks). Our team of expert teachers reviews each homework task carefully and sends you personalised feedback. You’ll receive written feedback on your writing and audio feedback on your pronunciation. If you prefer, you can submit only writing tasks in exchange for the speaking-based homework.
Will I get teacher support in the Bronze Plan?
Yes. You can ask questions in the course community, and our teachers will respond. However, personalised corrections and feedback are only available in the Gold Plan.
Is there a final exam for each programme?
Yes, there is a final exam for each programme.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes. You will get a certificate for each programme once you complete all lessons. You can also download an email confirmation of your final exam result and share it on LinkedIn or your CV.
How much time do I need to dedicate per day/week?
We recommend at least two study sessions per week. Four hours per week is ideal for strong progress. But if you prefer to study in short sessions each day, that works too.
What's the difference between the Professional English Programmes and the Beautiful British English Programmes?
The Professional English Programmes are designed to help you excel in the workplace. They focus on real-world business communication, such as meetings, emails, presentations and more, with a clear path from B1 to C1. The Beautiful British English Programmes focus on general fluency, pronunciation and everyday conversation. They’re perfect if your goal is to speak more naturally in social and general situations. If your main goal is to feel confident using English at work, the Professional English Programmes are your best choice.
What is the minimum age for these programmes?
You must be over the age of 16 to join any of our courses. If we find out that a student is under 16, we are legally obliged to remove them. This is for child protection reasons.
